About Laura

Laura started her career in teaching art K-12 for 18 years. She taught ten of those years at the American Community School of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. Upon her return to the USA in 1998, she decided to return to graduate school to become a licensed therapist.

Laura has two grown daughters, two rescue dogs, and two sassy hens. She is acutely aware of the climate crisis and supports environmental causes.
